My Favourite Memorys In 2015!

One of my favorite memory's of 2015 was when room 3 walk some of the Able Tasman in the rain and Ben, Heath, Cooper, Ruby and I went swimming in the warm water and running in the water.

My other favorite memory of 2015 was when Ruby and I did the not my hands challenge with makeup and a glass of water. When it was time to put on the red lip stick it didn't really go on my face. At the very start Ruby gave me a glass of water and spilt it all over my leg, top and face. It was hilarious.

My Oober Cool Camp!

  

My favourite activities on camp were mountain biking, making a creation and walking to Apple Tree Bay!

The biggest challenge on camp was climbing up the tower when almost every body was going up at the same time.

I liked going swimming at Apple Tree Bay in the rain.

I wish we had stayed for longer because we only stayed for four days.

I didn't like all the noise when we were trying to get to get to sleep late at night.

In writing we have been writing similes in our recounts to make them more interesting. Here are two of mine:

Cross Country day

Friday afternoon Totara syndicate went to Branford park  for cross country. We all walked to Branford park in our class order and in buddies. When we got there we had a tour of where the track is and where we need to be careful around. Then the year 5 girls went up to the starting line. Dave said, "On your marks GO" and the year 5 girls were off. I was pacing my self to catch up to the girls.      

My Spectacular Fiji trip =)

On an early Saturday morning I got ready for an early flight from Nelson to Auckland, then  from Auckland to Nadi. Nadi is in Fiji. In Nadi we caught a boat to Plantation island Resort. We got welcomed to Plantation by a welcome song and a shell necklace each. On the second day we just chilled out on the beach and went kayaking around the island. Then on the third day we went on a island hop ride with another couple to go snorkeling on the sea and see fish. The first island we went to was Mana Island Resort. It was o-k but Plantation is better. The second island was Castaway. On Castaway   Dad , Luke and I went jet skiing on a track on water. it was exciting but it felt like I was going to fall off  at the same time. Then  Luke and I went para-sailing 16 stories high. It was amazing, you could see an awesome view from so high. For the last island of the day we went to Molo island Resort. It was so beautiful.  Dad and I played volleyball together for a while the we went back to Plantation.  

Grace's cool week at camp!

Last week on Monday 10th March Room 3 went to Bridge Valley Adventure camp. My favourite activity was the tallest sand tower competition. It was my favourite because my team all worked together to help win. My team was team 3.  I also liked archery because I got an arrow through a tree.
